A CSR event with tangible results
Bee the Change is a CSR event in which teams work together to create habitats for wildlife whilst learning more about their own environment. The focus is on how environmental awareness and social responsibility can be brought to life within a team, as the event culminates not only in a shared experience but also in a visible, lasting result. Teams build shelters for birds, insects or bats with their own hands.
Eco Challenges: Experiencing knowledge as a team
Before construction can begin, the teams must work together to overcome a series of ‘eco challenges’. Using iPads provided for the event, they complete entertaining tasks centred on local ecology, learning in the process how human activity affects wildlife populations. As the tasks vary in difficulty, creativity, communication and the strengths of each individual are called upon to collectively unlock the components needed for the shelters.
From Knowledge to Construction: Creating Something Lasting Together
Once all the tasks have been completed, the practical part of the event begins. Using the components they have collected, the teams build nesting boxes under their own direction, which can then be set up in their own gardens or donated to local communities, schools and organisations. In this way, a team event becomes a contribution that has an impact beyond the day itself and remains visible to everyone involved.

A CSR event with an environmental focus
‘Bee the Change’ combines hands-on activity with genuine learning, as environmental awareness and social responsibility are not merely discussed here, but experienced together. At the same time, the event fosters communication, cooperation and teamwork, whilst the focus remains on enjoying the shared task. In the end, participants are left with more than just a sense of satisfaction, as the nesting boxes they build continue to have an impact as a CSR initiative long after the event has ended.
